Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

Do vendors need to RSVP in advance for one of the mandatory site visits?

Answer:
No RSVP necessary.

Is there any way to set up another site walk for vendors who missed the mandatory walk through?

Answer:
No. We are not able to have any more walkthroughs

Upon an award of this scope of work, or a modified scope of work to a vendor; would it be possible for ANY work to be initiated before the last day of school on May 24, 2024?

Answer:

No, because funding will not be available until June at the earliest.

The updated "Goddard_Closet_Cabling_RFP_Part_Count_Update_12_4_2023.pdf" indicates a significant variance between "ports need terminated in closet" (1997) and "ports need terminated in classroom, office, etc." (971). Can you explain again why the variance? Should we assume that we will still need to perform wire-map testing on all 1,997 drops that are re-terminated even if only on one end?

Answer:

The variance is caused by us having a lot of AP's, cameras, HVAC equipment that would be hard for the vendor to find the other end. You would only need to wire-map test the cables that the vendor terminates both ends on.
