E-rate rules require the applicants to evaluate the price of eligible goods and services that will be listed on the 471 application during the competitive bidding process. Fees and surcharges that apply but are not listed on the bid will be the responsibility of the bidding company, should their bid be awarded.

Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

Good morning, just a few questions: Regarding the access points, is there an existing infrastructure, are they in addition to it or would they be replacements? If additional, what is the infrastructure? If they are a replacement or new ones, how many users will there be per access points? Is there PoE available for the new Access Points?

Answer:

The APs are replacements for existing units. POE is a yes and the number of students accessing a given AP would be dynamic, as you can imagine. Each classroom has a single AP with additional in other areas around the campus.   We have approximately 425 students and staff who utilize our network.
