Internet Access – Applicant currently has 1Gbps bandwidth, and will accept bids for up to 20Gbps. Applicant is specifically requesting bids for 6Gbps, 8Gbps, and 10Gbps bandwidth. The terminating address for this circuit is 406 N. Bledsoe Gilmer, TX 75644; (903)841. E-rate rules require applicants to evaluate the cost of eligible goods and services, and to cost-allocate out the amount for ineligible services from their funding request. If your company will be bidding internet access service, please identify the amount to be cost-allocated out for the ineligible services – email service, web hosting, content filtering, or other bundled ineligible services.
NOTE: Per USAC’s current guidance about applying for Internet access this applicant is checking the Leased Lit Fiber, Internet Access: ISP Service only and Internet Access and Transport Bundled.

Category 1 Network Equipment – 3 switches with one 40 Gbps port, single mode fiber, and applicant prefers Brocade and 1 switch with three 40 Gbps ports, single mode fiber, applicant prefers Brocade.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR Category 1 Network Equipment: Vendors must complete and include the C1 Cover Page with their bid. Bids received without the cover page will be disqualified.
CATEGORY ONE DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR: Service provider must be able to respond onsite to emergency repair within 2 hours.
Internal Connections
VOLUNTARY SITE VISIT
Vendors wishing to bid on internal connections can attend a voluntary site visit on October 2nd, or October 9th beginning at 10am. Vendors will meet at 406 N. Bledsoe St., Gilmer, TX 75644, and check in with Rusty Ivey.
Project Narrative
We wish to complete our Wifi Network with installation of wireless APs at remaining classrooms that do not have coverage. C1 switches will upgrade backbone WAN to 40Gbps while C2 switches and fiber will complete 10Gbps to all LAN IDFs. There is another document associated with this IFCB available for download that details the equipment they wish to purchase. The document lists equipment that is preferred by the applicant – they will also accept functional equivalents of said items.
Compatibility Requirement
All requested equipment must be compatible with existing Aerohive WAPs, and Brocade switches.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: It will be the bidder’s responsibility to provide documentation about the compatibility requirements listed in this IFCB. Vendors that submit bids without documentation demonstrating the required compatibility listed in this IFCB will have their bids disqualified, unless that vendor has bid the preferred make/model number listed.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Vendors must complete and include the C2 Cover Page with their bid. Bids received without the cover page will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Service providers are required to bid the entire hardware of project A. Bids for individual components of the project A will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Applicant will not accept bids for refurbished equipment. Any bids containing refurbished equipment will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Bids that include equipment that were manufactured for use outside of the United States will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR INTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Service provider must be able to respond onsite to emergency repair within 2 hours.

NOTE: We are requesting WAP and switch licenses on this IFCB, which sometimes may be categorized as BMIC by USAC (the BMIC box on the 470 has been checked to cover this scenario).
Project Narrative
We utilize on-prem controller for wireless APs. We would like 5 year maintenance and upgrade for this controller. We would like to utilize Brocade’s maintenance suite for switch upgrades, and services on a 5 year agreement.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR BMIC: Service providers are required to bid the entire hardware project/upgrade. Bids for individual components of the project/upgrade will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR BMIC: Vendors must complete and include the C2 Cover Page with their bid. Bids received without the cover page will be disqualified.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR BMIC: Service provider must be able to respond onsite to emergency repair within 2 hours.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR BMIC: Maintenance bids listing only an hourly rate and not a monthly or annual total will be disqualified. Vendors quoting an hourly rate are required to also a) confirm that you have the ability/expertise to maintain all of the equipment listed and b) propose a number of hours at a particular rate monthly to properly maintain the entire list of equipment. Bids that contain only hourly rates, without confirmation that the company can service the list of equipment, or without a monthly total will be disqualified.
