E-rate rules require the applicants to evaluate the price of eligible goods and services that will be listed on the 471 application during the competitive bidding process. Fees and surcharges that apply but are not listed on the bid will be the responsibility of the bidding company, should their bid be awarded.

Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

Is this for service/support or is the customer looking to purchase 24 switches and 2 wireless controllers?

Answer:
All equipment is installed and operational, it is for service/support only.

Did you want install and configuration quoted or product only?

Answer:
This is a request for maintenance/support contracts (BMIC) for the listed equipment. The equipment has been installed and is currently operational.

You are asking for eligible and ineligible costs for the elementary school, but the elementary isn't listed, as needing a switch or WAP on the BMIC. What am I missing?

Answer:
Thanks for catching that, the IFCB has been updated to reflect the requests for the equipment at the ES (they were previously incorrectly listed as going to the HS).
