Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

Are you wanting the equipment installed and configured or just hardware only?

Answer:
Equipment only, no install or config

What building contains the Internet Demarc? Are the Elementary School, Middle School and High Schools connected in any way or method? Is it correct that the entire district is serviced with a single Internet Service?

Answer:
We are not bidding out our district internet connection, but our Demarc is at the HS which connects by fiber to the rest of the district.

The connection we are asking bids for is to upgrade the old DSL at the fieldhouse. This sits in another part of town at the stadium and is not connected by fiber to the rest of the district.

Are the switches for these locations being used for expansion, or replacing existing switches? If replacing, are they full replacement?

Answer:
These are replacement access switches. The unifis are needed for use with our controller for managing these smaller attached buildings.

What is current management platform for switches and APs? What brand of APs?

Answer:
We have Ubiquiti Unifi AP's and use Unifi Cloud controller to manage.
