We have updated the IFCB today with a bid schedule for the self-provisioned fiber project. Vendors are not required to complete the bid schedule to submit a bid.
UPDATE 2/19: A NEW ZIP FOLDER HAS BEEN ADDED. THE OLD RFP HAD THE WRONG DUE DATE ON THE COVER PAGE. THAT IS THE ONLY CHANGE FROM THE PREVIOUS ZIP FOLDER. THE CORRECT DUE DATE IS 3/11/2016.

Lit Fiber – 5 connections. Please provide bids for 1 GB and 10 GB bandwidths. Please detail how lit service is offered. Will you provide us with a port on your equipment or a “GBIC” or “SFP” that we plug into our switches? We use Avaya 96xx series switches for connection. Please provide separate pricing for any installation, activation, or initial configuration by connection. Please also provide separate pricing for any maintenance and technical support. Applicant is requesting a payment plan of 4 years for construction costs of circuit.
Dark Fiber – 5 connections. Please include a variety of IRU terms. Please provide what you willing to offer. Please provide separate pricing for any installation, activation, or initial configuration by connection. Please also provide separate pricing for any maintenance and technical support. Self-Provisioned Fiber – Applicant will accept bids for functional equivalents when a preferred make/manufacturer is listed. Applicant is requesting a payment plan of 4 years for construction costs of circuit.
There will be a pre-bid conference on
January 29, 2016 at the Steamboat Springs School District board room at 325 7th Street, Steamboat Springs, CO. Those who cannot make this meeting should contact Tim Miles, (
tmiles@ssk12.org) and arrange another visit. The pre-bid conference will begin at 10:00 AM and will take as long as needed to satisfy questions. All questions will be recorded and shared as an addendum to RFP. It will be posted for all to access.
Vendors are asked to submit an Intent to Submit Notification by February 1st, 2015. This notification should be emailed to Tim Miles at
tmiles@ssk12.org and indicate if the respondent intends to submit a proposal for Lit, Dark or Self Provisioned. A vendor may submit more than one bid if it is bidding more than one solution.
