IFCB Requirements :

·         Contracts must not prohibit SPIN changes.
 
·         Bidder must agree to provide the Applicant the choice of discount methods (SPI or BEAR).

·         All contracts awarded will be contingent upon E-rate funding and final board approval.  The applicant may choose to do all or part of the project upon funding notification.
 
·         All contracts awarded under this IFCB bidding process may be voluntarily renewed by the applicant, upon written notice to the provider, for five consecutive one year terms.
 
 
·         E-rate rules require applicants to evaluate the cost of eligible goods and services, and to cost-allocate out the amount for ineligible services from their funding request. CATEGORY TWO PROJECT DETAILS:
There is another document available for download (Okemah C2 List) that details the equipment being requested at each school.  All cabling will be performed in standard dropped ceilings.  18 drops are for the 9 wireless access points, 15 for new library at Okemah MS.  The fiber run needed at the Middle School is approx 150 feet total.  Four strand (minimum) indoor/outdoor multimode 62.5/125. 30 feet ran in underground conduit (conduit already installed with new construction).  Need total of 8 ST terminations (4 each side) and 1 six port fiber patch panel.  A Ubiquiti Unifi controller is already onsite along with 24 existing Unifi WAPs.  This is a wifi expansion project.  Please include pricing for installation, activation, and/or initial configuration costs.  We would like for you to submit your bids in your normal format – a word/excel/PDF as you normally would (in addition to the required templates).  The winning vendor will be required to complete, for each school (and all shared equipment), the 2016 USAC C2 Templates when they become available.

Answer:
 No, that requirement only applies to C2 bids.

 

Do the switches at each of the sites listed under the WAN Connectivity request, have a 1 Gbps SFP port available?

Answer:
 Yes

Applicant already has Hosted VOIP for 53 extensions, are they looking to migrate from current provider? the 12 lines requested is it for same Hosted VOIP PBX or on premises PBX Does applicant have on premises pbx and Hosted PBX with 53 extensions.

Answer:
 Our contract is up June 30th so it has to go out for bid. We will evaluate all proposals fairly.

The 12 lines are analog(POTS) used for fire alarms and faxes.

No on prem pbx for our 53 extensions. We have a gateway that connects to our voip service provider, they host the pbx on their end.

Will there be a walkthrough for the C2 project?

Answer:
 No. The cabling is pretty straight forward. No runs over 150 ft, with 8-9 ft dropped ceilings. 18 of the drops are for wireless access points and will be left in ceiling. The remaining 15 are for one location, new MS library.

Does this school perfer hosted or on prem?

How many of the 53 extensions need long distance access? How many extensions (of 53) need voice mail, if not all of them?

Answer:
 We currently have long distance and vm on all extensions and would prefer to keep it that way.
