·         Contracts must not prohibit SPIN changes.
 
·         Bidder must agree to provide the Applicant the choice of discount methods (SPI or BEAR).
 
·         Bidder will be automatically disqualified if the District determines that the bidding company has offered any employee of the District any individual gift of more than $20 or gifts totaling more than $50 within a 12 month period.
 
·         All contracts awarded will be contingent upon E-rate funding and final board approval.  The applicant may choose to do all or part of the project upon funding notification.
 
·         All contracts awarded under this IFCB bidding process may be voluntarily renewed by the applicant, upon written notice to the provider, for five consecutive one year terms.
 
·         E-rate rules require applicants to evaluate the cost of eligible goods and services, and to cost-allocate out the amount for ineligible services from their funding request. If your company will be bidding local phone service, please identify the amount to be cost-allocated out for the ineligible services - DID lines, voice mail, caller ID, inside wire maintenance, 900 call blocking, or other bundled ineligible services.

Is the district willing to consider at 10 year WAN contract?

Answer:
 Yes

Does the district want to keep their current daisy chain configuration of the WAN or would they rather have a hub and spoke network? Would a simple SFP hand off at their LAN switch be acceptable or does the district require that provider install a switch in front of their LAN switch?

Answer:
 Yes, please bid a hub and spoke design. We do have simple sfp hand off at my lan switch, do not require fiber switch in front of my lan switch

What is the physical address of the Network Center for the Hub and Spoke network design? Will this be the same location where the Internet Access and PRI are currently being delivered? Will the Internet bandwidth delivery site remain in it's current location?

What is the existing WAN connection speed connecting the 5 schools together?

Answer:
 Speed currently is 1GB

 

Does this contract with Complete Networking end on June 30th 2015 and how long was this contract…..3, 5, 10 years?

Please confirm that the High school and the Intermediate school are in the same location. Do you want a 1G link to each the High School and Intermediate School even if they are in the same campus? Same goes for the Central Admin Office and Elementary. Do you want a 1G link to each of them even if they are in the same address? So there would be a total of 4 x 1G links delivered at your hub. Correct?
