Answer:
That is a lot of extra time, that basically doubles the amount of time the 470 is open. We do not like extending the deadline out that far, but we will extend it to 1/15/15. Please make sure you bid by that date.
Answer:
Internal Connections switches would be 48 port PoE. We are presently using Enterasys C5 Stackable switches. Uplinks for the internal switches would be Ethernet.
Answer:
The total number of ports per site would be the total number of APs. At the bottom of each project outline, it has the number of required ports. Optional ports are in parenthesis and mandatory ports are not. For the HS project, maximum optional ports is 110. minimum ports is 64
For the K8 Building total drops is 71
The K8 Building has one 48 Port switch that we are going to use for this project (if I failed to mention this, sorry), so the required number of ports would be 23, but we are wanting 48 port switches to allow for anticipated growth in the network.
Answer:
Yes it has. Update emails were sent out but we will send out another one today.
Answer:
We presently have 3705i Wireless APs, but these are abgn APs. The document states that they need to be Wireless AC compatible. Outside of that, I don't care which model.
The Installation of the access points will be done in house, the Wiring projects (listed separately) are to accommodate the Wireless AC Access Points.
Company refurbished would be acceptable, assuming that the AC access points are AC Version 2.
