Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

What size rack is needed? Is the rack to be wall mounted or floor standing? Is the rack replacing an existing rack? If so, is there enough slack in the existing network cable coming into the patch panel to be able to remove patch panel without compromising the existing cabling?

Answer:

We want a counter top rack that will hold 6-10 AU rack.  Yes, we do have an Ubiquiti AP and 2 Ubiquiti Unity APLR in place.

I believe the building to be cement and cinder block.  We do have a drop ceiling.  We do not have a cabling patch panel at all.  Yes there enough open ports on the existing switch.

Do you already have Ubiquiti AP's in place? If so, what model? What is the building construction consist of, ie, sheet rock, cinder block, cement, walls? Is there a drop ceiling in place or solid ceilings? Is there enough room in existing cabling patch panel for new cabling for the wireless access points? Are there enough open ports on existing switches for new AP's?

Answer:
