Questions Received with Applicant Answers   ( Ask Questions? )

Do you have a model number preference for the caching server?

Answer:
CYBERTRONPC IMPERIUM SVIIB1381 TWR with Linux OS (or functional equivalent).

Will there be any cable drops needed for this project?

Answer:
We do not need additional drops.

• how big is your school’s Internet connection? • How many years of support do you want included, 1, 3 or 5 years? • What are you primarily trying to cache? We offer a purpose built caching appliance not a server from a computer vendor. A server functioning as a cache server will provide some content benefit but won’t solve your video streaming problems, facilitate online testing or recapture 40% of your bandwidth. Our solution not only does Apple, Microsoft, Google and other updates and content, plus all the types of content that make a difference in the classroom: • · YouTube and other video • · Antivirus signatures from all vendors • · Web-based educational applications from the likes of Pearson, Compass Learning, Lexia, Rosetta Stone (to name just a handful!) • · Educational sites such as Khan Academy, Study Island • Software updates - iOS, MS, A/V, etc • · LMS’s like Moodle, Blackboard etc • · Online testing from PARCC any chance of offering CRW or the school district a web demo or trial unit to see the advantages?

Answer:
We have a 200MB Internet Connection

We did not request BMIC for the caching server, so no support.

We want to cache Videos Streams, Windows updates, Youtube Videos, and testing content.

Do you have a specific part number for the caching server? Are there any cable drops necessary?

Answer:
CYBERTRONPC IMPERIUM SVIIB1381 TWR with Linux OS (or functional equivalent). No  additional drops needed.
