Please provide separate pricing for any installation, activation, or initial configuration. Please also provide separate pricing for any maintenance and technical support. CATEGORY TWO VOLUNTARY SITE VISIT:
PROVIDERS WISHING TO BID ON THE CATEGORY TWO PROJECTS MAY ATTEND A VOLUNTARY WALKTHROUGH SCHEDULED FOR January 11, 2016 through January 15, 2016 FROM 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. REPORT TO BUILDING B (ADMIN OFFICE) TO SIGN IN AND THE SECRETARY WILL CONTACT WAYNE WILLIAMS (TECH DIRECTOR).
CATEGORY TWO PROJECT DETAILS -:
Purchase, install and activate 14 Aerohive AP121 Wireless Access Points (WAP) or functional equivalent. Each WAP is to include mounting kits and power supplies. In addition, provide and install a HP1410-24G switch (or equivalent) in the New Gym to facilitate the addition of the six (6) incoming WAPs. Provide three (3) 1000 ft spools of Cat 5 cable, with RJ45 connectors, to be used to connect WAP to appropriate switches. In addition, repair and activate the two defective WAP in A-9 and outside of building D. Also a 19 inch wall mount mini server rack in building J. Purchase, install 1and activate 14 Aerohive AP121 Wireless Access Points (WAP) in the following locations: Room A-1 (District Administration office) in the center doorway, Room A-4 (Elementary Administration office) in the foyer room, Room A-10 class room, Room A-12 class room, Room C-7 class room, Building E center of room, Room G-4 (Old Gym) computer room, M-1 (New Gym) what is presently the weight room but will become the Health class room, M-101 (New Gym) class room, M-102 (New Gym) class room, M-103 (New Gym) class room, M-104 (New Gym) class room, M-105 (New Gym) class room, M-106 (New Gym) class room. Each WAP is to include mounting kits and power supplies. In addition, provide and install a HP1410-24G switch (or equivalent) in the New Gym to facilitate the addition of the six (6) incoming WAPs. Provide three (3) 1000 ft spools of Cat 5 cable, to be used to connect WAP to appropriate switches. Also a 19 inch wall mount mini server rack for building J. Applicant will accept bids for functional equivalents when a preferred make/manufacturer is listed.
Below is the list of equipment applicant would like to purchase as Shared District equipment.
• Antennas, Connectors and Related Components - 100 x RJ45 connectors or functional equivalent
• Cabling – 3 x 1000 ft. spools of Cat5 cable
• Racks – 1 x 19 inch wall mount mini server rack or functional equivalent
• Switches – 1 x HP1410-24G switch or functional equivalent
• WAPs – 14 x Aerohive AP121 wireless access points or functional equivalent
CATEGORY TWO DISQUALIFICATION FACTORS:
Vendors are required to submit bids via the template “Internal connections – Template V15 – 1” or “Basic Maintenance Template V15 – 1” for each individual school that is receiving equipment and a separate template for all shared equipment. Please name each template for the name of the school and project. Example: “Smith Elementary School Wireless Project” or “Wireless project shared equipment for all schools.” Vendors that do not submit bids in the required template format will be disqualified from the process.
DISQUALIFICATION FACTOR: SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO BID THE ENTIRE HARDWARE PROJECT/UPGRADE. BIDS FOR INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS OF THE PROJECT/UPGRADE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
We would like for you to submit your bids in your normal format – a word/excel/PDF as you normally would (in addition to the required templates). There is an additional document attached (Instructions for C2 Bids) that explains how to submit a C2 bid. The winning vendor will be required to complete, for each school (and any shared equipment), the 2016 USAC C2 Templates when they become available. Once available the templates will be due in a two week time period.
